At our June meeting held at Lake of the Pines, some wonderful Assistance League of Greater Placer members were recognized for their many years of service to our communities by their tireless efforts on behalf of our philanthropic programs, working in the Thrift Shop, and helping with our fundraising events. Julene Henning, and Susan Maggi. Our remarkable 30-year members, Lee Ann Greer and Norma Harris, were unable to attend. Congratulations to Betty Field on receiving the Ada Edwards Laughlin Award which is given to the Assistance League of Greater Placer member whose behind the scenes contributions are significant and which exemplify the attributes of Ada Edwards Laughlin.
