Empowering children to succeed<\/h3>\n

Operation School Bell\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0is Assistance League\u2019s signature program. The goal is to help children succeed in school by providing new school clothing; tutoring assistance and books to advance their reading skills.<\/p>\n

One of our Operation School Bell programs is Books of My Own.<\/p>\n

Books of My Own<\/h3>\n

Take-home reading books are purchased for children at various schools in the Tri-Valley area. We partner with the classroom teacher to choose a book title to be studied in class. Then our members purchase a copy of the book for each student in the class. The book is given to each child to keep, becoming a \u201cbook of my own.\u201d[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_images_carousel images=”5650,5648,5649,5647″ img_size=”300×450″ speed=”4000″ autoplay=”yes” title=”Student thank you letters”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row 0=””][vc_column]

Rachelle <\/h4>Thank you for giving us the books, Sideways Stories<\/span>. I am enjoying it because it is very funny and silly. I love when one kid made a teacher turn into an apple and an adult ate the apple, but she didn\u2019t know the evil teacher was the apple. Thank you so much for the books!<\/em><\/div><\/div>

Dominic<\/h4>Thank you for giving us the book, <\/em>Sideways Stories.<\/span> The book is very silly. It is one of my favorite books. The whole entire class likes the book. It is even funnier than Diary of a Wimpy Kid<\/em>.<\/div><\/div>
