Supporting Patient Rehabilitation<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”10317″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_border” border_color=”black”][vc_column_text css=””]Shepherd Center is a 152-bed, state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility specializing in patients with catastrophic injuries.\u00a0 Our Shepherd Center Patient Support supplies new clothing (long and short sleeved T-shirts as well as pants) appropriate for physical therapy to aid patients in their rehabilitation.\u00a0 Assistance League of Atlanta also helps patients, many of whom are far from home, celebrate birthdays with a gift of a lightweight backpack that can be used to hold supplies when on outings. The program also works with Case Management to cover the cost of a piece of durable medical equipment that a patient needs but which their insurance does not cover.\u00a0 During the 2023 – 2024 fiscal year Assistance League of Atlanta supported 591<\/strong>\u00a0patients.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner css=”.vc_custom_1480311157804{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Assistance League of Atlanta is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and donations are tax deductible.<\/p>\n
