Assistance League of the Bay Area Celebrates National Volunteer Week

“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject, and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”  ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
Volunteers matter. Volunteers make a difference. An individual’s great generosity has a profound and lasting impact. A willingness to share time and talents by volunteering speaks volumes about an individual as a human being. Giving selflessly to help others demonstrates the strength and quality of a person’s character.
In celebration of National Volunteer Week, Assistance League of the Bay Area® salutes every member who has made the commitment and is dedicated to altruistic service.
Each one’s volunteerism is recognized, appreciated, valued, and cherished.
