Assistance League Donates to Galveston’s Children’s Center

On December 17, Assistance League® of the Bay Area members traveled to Galveston for a heartwarming experience with The Children’s Center residents aged eighteen months to seventeen.

These children and teens selected age-level books, crafts, and school supplies. Additionally, they enjoyed holiday cupcakes and salty snacks.

Anything that remained after they made their selections was donated to the facility, including libraries in each resident’s hall.

The center’s mission is to change and save the lives of abandoned, abused, neglected, and exploited children, youth, and families through rescue, nurturing, and empowerment in a quality continuum of caring that facilitates satisfying living opportunities.

The chapter is thrilled to have participated in this worthwhile organization.
