Assistance League of Bellingham is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization transforming lives and strengthening our community through philanthropic programs within Whatcom County.\u00a0 Member volunteers are dedicated to ongoing support and a lasting presence in our community through hands-on\u00a0<\/em>involvement and innovative philanthropic programs. We are a member of Assistance League, a national organization<\/a> with 95 chapters throughout the United States. Each chapter’s focus is on its local community’s needs.<\/p>\n

Since its formation in 1982, Assistance League of Bellingham’s member volunteers have consistently provided quality service to the residents of Whatcom County.\u00a0 This past year our member volunteers contributed \u00a029,303 hours of service, supporting six philanthropic programs<\/a>.\u00a0 These programs provide services to every age range in their communities.<\/p>\n

Our award winning Thrift & Gift Shop<\/a> is our main source of funding.\u00a0 It is staffed and managed entirely by our member volunteers.\u00a0 Donations are always welcome and are tax deductible.
