Assistance League of\u00a0Bellingham celebrated the birthday of its founder, Anne Banning by doing what it does best,\u00a0giving back to the community.<\/p>\n

For National Action! Week<\/strong>, ALB held a Sock Drive during the month of February to benefit\u00a0Operation School Bell\u00ae<\/strong><\/a>. The socks will be given to the Bellingham School Coordinators for distribution through the Operation School Bell program.<\/p>\n

In 2020<\/em>, the Sock Drive was open to the public and with help from our customers and members, we donated 822 pair.\u00a0This year<\/em>, since our Thrift & Gift Shop was still closed due to the Pandemic, it was an Assistance League of Bellingham members only event.<\/p>\n
