In February, Assistance League of Bellingham participated in NATIONAL ACTION WEEK, which annually honors the founder of Assistance League, Ann Banning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Each chapter in the USA participates in a week of service to our communities in honor of our founding as an organization. This year’s focus was literacy and we held a Children’s New Book Drive for kids 0-10 years old. We received over 200 books!\u00a0The books were donated to both the local LIONS CLUB BOOKS FOR KIDS and to UNITY CARE NW for their clinic waiting rooms.<\/div>\n
