In addition, Assistance League of Bend thanks the Reser Family Foundation, Fred Meyer, Midstate Electric Charitable Trust, Deschutes County Commissioners, and First Interstate Bank for their generous support. These funds will positively impact families across Deschutes County.

Carma Monarich, Executive Director of the Cow Creek Indian Foundation, presented the check to Janet Martin, President of Assistance League of Bend, at the award ceremony held at the Seven Feathers Resort and Casino Convention Center in Canyonville, Oregon on June 29, 2023. The mission of the Cow Creek Indian Foundation is to offer assistance in youth education, strengthen youth and family, provide for positive youth development, and add to the quality of life for people in Southwestern Oregon. The funds will be used for Assistance League of Bend’s Operation School Bell program to provide clothing to children living in poverty in Deschutes County. Assistance League of Bend is immensely grateful for our friends at the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation for their ongoing support.
