The students were given the opportunity to shop for new school clothes at the Bend and Redmond Walmart stores, thanks to the generosity of the Central Oregon community and Assistance League of Bend. Each student received a \u201cticket to shop\u201d valued at\u00a0<strong>$100 for grades K-5\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>$135 for grades 6-12<\/strong>. The children selected items that fit and reflect their personal style, fostering<strong> dignity, confidence, and a sense of belonging.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The benefits extend well beyond physical comfort.
