{"id":6669,"date":"2020-10-21T11:43:37","date_gmt":"2020-10-21T18:43:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/bend\/?p=6669"},"modified":"2020-12-03T12:00:11","modified_gmt":"2020-12-03T20:00:11","slug":"operation-school-bell-pop-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/bend\/2020\/10\/21\/operation-school-bell-pop-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Operation School Bell\u00ae Pop-ups"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Assistance League of Bend has been busy coming up with creative new ways to get supplies to children in need during the pandemic.\u00a0 We kicked off our Operation School Bell<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> pop-ups by providing free socks and underwear at Bear Creek Elementary and Redmond High School during their free lunch distributions. \u00a0Thank you to our volunteers who welcomed each family as they drove through socially distanced.\u00a0 We will be traveling to different schools in Deschutes County throughout the week, handing out 1,200 pairs of socks and underwear.\u00a0 Family responses on a Community Assessment Survey will determine what supplies will be distributed at the Operation School Bell pop-ups next month.
