Inland North County – Celebrates Remodeled Thrift Shop

Assistance League of Inland North County recently celebrated the grand reopening of their Thrift and Consignment Shop in Escondido. Assistance League partnered with Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) of San Diego to update the Thrift Shop and Consignment Shop to maximize the potential sales area.

The renovations added 25 percent more space to the thrift shop and also included window tinting, two new interior display walls and display walls throughout the store along with new track lighting to highlight some areas.

The thrift shop is the main fundraiser for Assistance League programs which help thousands of children and adults in need. The nonprofit group presented awards to the National Association of Remodeling Industry San Diego Chapter for donating work and materials to remodel the shop.

From left to right, attendees at the reopening included Francis Sabato; Fritzi Gross-Daillon; Clay Leaf; Jim Ward; Jeanne Bente, president of Assistance League of Inland North County and Linda Zullinger, thrift shop co-chairman. Visit assistanceleague.info.
