Our members design Christmas trees using creative themes, their talent and many homemade items.\u00a0 It is a wonderful evening of fun and excitement.\u00a0 We invite businesses and individuals from the community to come to our Chapter house to view the trees and participate in the live auction.\u00a0 The decorations from each tree are auctioned and highest bidder wins!\u00a0 Then, after Thanksgiving, the designer will recreate the tree at the winner&#8217;s desired location.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;fadeIn&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/carlsbad\/fundraisers-2\/denim-and-diamonds\/\">Denim and Diamonds Benefit Dinner\/Dance\/Auction<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Denim and Diamonds is a fundraiser dinner that is held after the winter holidays when everyone just needs to relax.\u00a0 All proceeds benefit the local community through our philanthropic programs; most notably Operation School Bell\u00ae, which provides new school clothes to the local children in need.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;fadeInUpBig&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/carlsbad\/fundraisers-2\/ducky-affair\/\">Ducky Affair<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Ducky Affair is an annual event typically hosted by the Elks lodge in Carlsbad, NM.\u00a0 Members sell raffle tickets and wind prizes that have been donated by the local businesses.\u00a0 There are also 2 great cash prizes.\u00a0 This event is held in June.\u00a0 All proceeds benefit the local community through our philanthropic programs; most notably Operation School Bell\u00ae, which provides new school clothes to the local children in need.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;bounceInRight&#8221;] Christmas Tree Auction Every year we have our Annual Christmas Tree Auction.
