css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1450037536845{margin-bottom: 50px !important;}&#8221;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Celebrating over 50 years of service in Carlsbad!&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1602107707266{padding-right: 30px !important;}&#8221;]Assistance League of Carlsbad is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through philanthropic programs in Eddy County, New Mexico.\u00a0 Member volunteers are dedicated to ongoing support and a long-term presence in the community through hands-on involvement and innovative philanthropic programs.<\/p>\n<p>The Carlsbad chapter was organized in 1966 with about 15 members and chartered in 1970.\u00a0 There are ~120 Assistance League chapters in 26 states with just under 22,000 members.\u00a0 In 2018-2019, Assistance League chapters served over 1.5 million people, returned over $43.7 million to local communities across the country and invested ~3.34 million service hours.<\/p>\n<p>Assistance League of Carlsbad currently has ~32 member volunteers working to make Eddy County a better place to live and work through our programs.\u00a0 In 2019-2020, our dedicated members volunteered over 13,000 hours.\u00a0 We encourage you to learn more about our chapter and the many ways you can become involved and make a difference.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Mission, Vision and Values&#8221;
