Assistance League of Charlotte is pleased to open up our 2022-2023 scholarship application season beginning Monday, December 13, 2021 through March 20, 2022.  
PLEASE CONSIDER THE CRITERIA BELOW BEFORE APPLYING AT

Assistance League of Charlotte awards college scholarships to graduating seniors attending a high school located in Mecklenburg County and previous Assistance League of Charlotte Scholarship recipients for their continuing education. Scholarship awards are based on community service, academic performance and financial need.

The following criteria must be met to be eligible for the Assistance League of Charlotte Scholarship:
  • Not be a relative of an Assistance League of Charlotte member
  • Be a graduating senior attending a high school located in Mecklenburg County
  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 weighted
  • Score a minimum combined total of 1100 on SAT math and reading/writing or a minimum 21 on ACT
  • Enroll as a full-time student for the fall and following spring semesters at one of the 17 campuses of The University of North Carolina System
The following criteria must be met to be eligible for the Assistance League of Charlotte CPCC Scholarship:
  • Not be a relative of an Assistance League of Charlotte member
  • Be a graduating senior attending a high school located in Mecklenburg County
  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 weighted
  • Enroll as a full-time student for the fall and following spring semesters at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC)
The following criteria must be met to be eligible for the Assistance League of Charlotte Previous Recipient Scholarship:
  • Not be a relative of an Assistance League of Charlotte member
  • Attend one of the 17 universities in the University of North Carolina system as a full-time student or attend CPCC as a full-time student
  • Demonstrate community service involvement.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 must be held by the applicant at the time of application
