Opening Tuesday, October 4, 2016 – 10:00 a.m. for business!
The entire week from Tuesday, October 4, to Saturday, October 8, will be our very special Soft Opening event.
Bring new or gently used Children’s Book(s) for our Make a Difference Day book drive to support children’s literacy. When you donate books, you will receive a coupon for an opportunity to dig into our grab bag of goodies.
Friday, October 21 – GRAND OPENING 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Doors open at 8:00 a.m. for shopping.
As our clients, sponsors, members, friends, and families you are cordially invited to attend our grand opening events! We are also inviting dignitaries from the cities we serve: Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, South Scottsdale, and Gilbert. We provide school clothing to students in these communities as well, so we are inviting the school superintendents, principals, teachers, and nurses.
There will be light refreshments, entertainment by two of our elementary schools, recognitions, and drawings for prizes. Building up to this event to support our move, we have been selling raffle tickets.
The Grand prize is $1,000; 2nd prize is a Two-Night Stay at the Arizona Grand; and 3rd prize is a Michael Kors purse.
THE SPEAKING and RECOGNITION PROGRAM BEGINS AT 12 noon.
We will be selling “SHOE CARDS” for the students we serve to purchase their school worthy shoes. These $20 cards are essential for our students.
*Those who purchase shoe cards will be given a coupon to be entered in drawings throughout the afternoon for gift certificates at local restaurants and businesses.
Channel 3 TV will be on site at 8:15 a.m.
KOOL FM will be on site from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
“Stuff the Bus”
To further benefit children in our community, there will be a school bus in the parking lot to be “stuffed” with sweatshirts, socks and tennis shoes. These much needed items will then be distributed to the schools we serve.
PLEASE help us by bringing NEW sweatshirts, tennis shoes, or socks to help us stuff the bus!
