Assistance League of El Paso does not copy, reproduce, publish, post, distribute, share or sell donor names and personal contact information to any outside individual or business.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Exceptions shall be those required by law, requested in grant applications, or in connection with bank credit or debit card transactions that may be made without prior knowledge or consent of the donor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Acknowledgement of donors by name and\/or description of donation will be printed in materials only after donors have given written permission.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Such materials may include chapter newsletters, brochures, press releases, event invitations and programs.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A donor wishing to view samples of these publications may do so by contacting the chapter at the address below.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assistance League of El Paso will provide, at least annually, a means (such as a check off box) for both New and continuing donors can inform Assistance League of El Paso if they choose not to have their names acknowledged on any printed material indicated in \u00a0the previous paragraph.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If donors choose to opt out of any acknowledgement listings in printed material, the donors name and address will be made available only to members of Assistance League of El Paso who are responsible for managing the business of the corporation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Records of donations to Assistance League of El Paso shall be maintained by the corporation according to applicable standards of record retention in effect at the time of the donation.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0All records will be secured at the chapter location.<\/span><\/p>\n

Names of donors contributing to the Thrift Shop are never made public without written permission from the donor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Personal information of any chapter member shall not be shared without the written consent of the individual.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Exceptions shall be those set forth in the National Assistance League Donor Privacy Policy.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Donations received by a chapter member will be afforded the same considerations as stated in this policy.<\/span><\/p>\n
