The event is held annually in Verdugo Park. 5,000 to 10,000 yellow rubber ducks “race” to a finish line to earn prizes for their “adoptive owners.” All proceeds go back into the community to help those in need.<\/p>\n

In most recent years, the event has been held in September, but the month may vary. The Christmas Sale committee, led by Sylvia Kowal, transforms our large meeting room into a Christmas wonderland. You will find trees, ornaments, handmade crafts, vintage items and more at the sale. The sale runs for three days, with customers waiting all year to attend. All proceeds from the sale help to fund our philanthropic programs.<\/p>\n

This support also is proof to groups that grade nonprofits on their member’s involvement and giving that we stand behind our chapter not only by volunteering many hours to help children, senior citizens and those in need, but by financial contributions.<\/p>\n
