Assistance League welcomes monetary contributions from individuals, businesses and foundations. Your tax-deductible donation can be applied to the program of your choice or left to us to determine where funding is most urgently needed. Donations stay in our service area of New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender counties for the benefit of children, families and seniors in need.<\/h4>\n

The Landfall Foundation<\/h4>\n

Over the years, The Landfall Foundation has generously supported Assistance League of Greater Wilmington with grants to assist our Operation School Bell\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>program. Their contributions have helped us to address the clothing, literacy and hygiene needs of many of our local schoolchildren. This year, their generous funding benefited our Stand Out and Read program, allowing us to expand it to distribute books to second graders as well as third.\u00a0 We are so grateful for their support.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3452″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”black”][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

ATMC<\/h4>\n

Atlantic Telephone Membership Corporation (ATMC) is a nonprofit cooperative providing communications services to residents of Brunswick County. ATMC has been supporting Assistance League of Greater Wilmington since 2014. We recently received a grant to be used for our KNAP Sack program in Brunswick County and appreciate their continued support.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”4176″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”black”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Dan Cameron Family Foundation<\/h4>\n

At the direction of Hilda C. Dill, a generous gift was made to Assistance League of Greater Wilmington for use in our Operation School Bell program.\u00a0 We greatly appreciate the support of the Dan Cameron Family Foundation as we work to make a difference in the lives of local schoolchildren.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Wilmington Cape Fear Rotary<\/h4>\n

We received a generous grant from the Wilmington Cape Fear Rotary Club. This will be used to benefit many adults and children in need in our area.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4728″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded”][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

BEMC<\/h4>\n

BEMC, Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation, recently donated funds to supply Snack Pack items to be distributed in Brunswick County. We appreciate their generosity.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”8396″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”black” css=””][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Whole Foods<\/h4>\n

Funding was received for our Operation School Bell Snack Pack program from the Whole Foods Market Community Giving Program.\u00a0 The recommendation to apply came from one of their Wilmington market employees.\u00a0 Many thanks for the recommendation and the award as we all work together to end childhood hunger.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”6219″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”black”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_column_text css=””]Assistance League of Greater Wilmington wishes to thank Target for allowing us to conduct Middle School shopping nights at their store in Wilmington. North Carolina Community Foundation<\/h4>\n

The Suzanne and George Taylor Endowment Fund, a component fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation, has, over the years, granted us a generous amount for Operation School Bell.\u00a0 Their charitable awards allow us to serve numerous children in New Hanover County.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4395″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” link=”https:\/\/www.nccommunityfoundation.org\/”][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Coastal Carolina Women’s Club<\/h4>\n

Grants have helped enhance our philanthropic programs including Operation Teddy Bear and Kids on the Block.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4878″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded”][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Catherine Kennedy Home Foundation<\/h4>\n

Assistance League of Greater Wilmington was pleased to receive a grant awarded by the Catherine Kennedy Home Foundation in Wilmington. \u00a0The funding will be used to purchase items for use by senior residents at AHEPA and Spring Arbor of Wilmington as part of our Operation Seniors program.\u00a0<\/em> In the past, grant monies from the foundation have been used at another senior assisted living community.\u00a0 We appreciate their continued support of our philanthropic programs.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4763″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Corning<\/h4>\n

A donation from the Corning Incorporated Foundation – Wilmington facility has benefited our Operation School Bell Snack Pack program. The Arby’s Foundation<\/h4>\n

Thanks to an employee recommendation, The Arby’s Foundation presented us with a grant for our Snack Packs program which falls under the umbrella of Operation School Bell.\u00a0 Many thanks to both the employee and the foundation.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”5221″][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Aldi<\/h4>\n

We are grateful to the Aldi Smart Kids Program who granted us a gift card which was used to purchase two months of supplies for our Operation School Bell Snack Pack program. Talbots Charity Days<\/h4>\n

Talbots in Mayfaire has donated 10% of sales to Assistance League of Greater Wilmington during several shopping events. The proceeds were used for teacher awards, clothing for children in need, scholarships and our other philanthropic programs.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”4″ accent_color=”#2c49a0″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Belk Charity Days<\/h4>\n

Assistance League of Greater Wilmington\u00a0has been proud to partner with Belk \u00a0for their charity days ever since we introduced a chapter in the greater Wilmington area. Selling tickets within our organization and\u00a0to the general public brings many residents to help the cause. Our volunteers also help on the sale days. In these ways we contribute to the charity event. This involvement entitles us to the ticket proceeds and a portion of the day’s sales.
