Member orientations are held every Saturday afternoon at the Thrift Shop. If you have interested friends or family, let them know to stop by the Thrift Shop from 12:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturdays. Assistance League of Hawaii is proud to provide volunteer opportunities for today’s youth.  We can offer community service hours for students to help meet high school/college application requirements.  Our program is convenient and flexible for students to become future citizens of the world.

Students working with us will help with donation management and preparing items for sale in our Thrift Shop. In addition, students could also provide customer service in our Thrift Shop.

LaVonne Holmberg and Sandy Wells joined Debbie Muirhead in recognition of earning the President’s Volunteer Service Award for 2018. They were honored at the November 14 Assistance League of Hawaii monthly membership meeting.
This is the premier volunteer service awards program in the United States, encouraging citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition. The ladies have achieved the required number of 4,000 hours of cumulative service over the course of a lifetime. Congratulations to our three members who have earned the award this year.
