{"id":4546,"date":"2018-10-11T08:18:53","date_gmt":"2018-10-11T18:18:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/hawaii\/?p=4546"},"modified":"2021-11-03T20:39:12","modified_gmt":"2021-11-04T06:39:12","slug":"owl-duo-make-presentation-in-waimea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/hawaii\/archives\/4546","title":{"rendered":"OWL Duo Make Presentation in Waimea"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"widget-title\">OWL Duo Make Presentation in Waimea<\/h3>\n<p>Assistance League of Hawaii <a href=\"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/hawaii\/philanthropic-programs\/operation-wildlife\"><strong>Operation Wildlife<\/strong><\/a> (OWL) members were at the\u00a0Thelma Parker Memorial Library in Waimea on the \u00a0Big Island of Hawaii where they\u00a0gave three\u00a0presentations to students from Parker, Waimea County, Hawaii Preparatory Academy (HPA) and Waimea Elementary schools.\u00a0Waimea was OWL&#8217;s\u00a0first Neighbor Island trip which was from September 24 to the 27. <strong>Gerri Migita<\/strong> and <strong>Leilani Alcover<\/strong> made that trip.<\/p>\n<p>Koko Head Elementary was visited on September 24 and Kapunahala Elementary in Kaneohe on September 26. More presentations are planned for this academic year.
