Beginning September 1 through the 30, is Assistance League of Hawaii\u2019s annual <\/span>Give Aloha campaign<\/a>. <\/b>\u00a0It is our organization\u2019s fundraiser that is coordinated with the Foodland<\/strong> chain of supermarkets and stores.<\/span><\/p>\n

The annual community matching gifts program honors Foodland of Hawaii’s founder <\/span>Maurice J. “Sully” Sullivan<\/b>. The program continues his legacy of giving back to the community and supports the Assistance League of Hawaii’s philanthropic programs for our keiki.<\/span><\/p>\n

How Does Give Aloha Work? <\/b>During the month of September, customers are invited to make donations of up to $249 (per person, per organization) at checkout to their favorite Hawaii non-profit organization registered in the Give Aloha program. Donations are accepted at any Foodland, Sack N Save or Foodland Farms checkout. A code is assigned to each organization for donation tracking at checkout. This year, Foodland will match each donation up to a total of at least $250,000 for all organizations combined.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Enrollment in Foodland\u2019s free Maka\u2019i Rewards program is required. If you are not part of the program, you can sign up for free at any Foodland or Sack N Save store.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to help Assistance League of Hawaii, be sure you use the code <\/span>77759<\/b> for all Give Aloha purchases at the Foodland or Sack N Save checkout.<\/span><\/p>\n
