In 2018-2019 Operation School Bell clothes 1756 students

During the 2018-2019 school year Operation School Bell provided brand new school-appropriate clothing and shoes to 1756 economically disadvantaged students in the school districts of Hemet and San Jacinto.

This program began in our Hemacinto chapter in 1976. Each year we see the numbers of students  in need to increase. Working with the Walmart store of San Jacinto allows us to expand our ability to offer a full selection of sizes and styles. We can accommodate working parents in the evening and children do not have to leave school. The families meet us at Walmart on specified nights with their registration form they have received from their school and students have the opportunity to choose their own new school clothes and shoes. We are clothing 80-100 students each night we are at Walmart in the months of September and October. We know that experiencing the joy of new school clothes and shoes not only boosts their self-esteem, but also improves their changes of scholastic success.

We strive to put SHIRTS ON BACKS, SHOES ON FEET, & SMILES ON FACES
