We won first place in the Chronicle’s “Houston Gives” Contest

Thanks to the efforts of members and friends led by Linda Williams Hall, past president, Assistance League of Houston won first place out of many Houston charities in the Chronicle’s “Houston Gives Charity Ad Giveaway” Contest.  After hundreds of people voted for us online, we won $106,900 in free Chronicle print and digital advertising for six months.

Look for our ads in future editions of the Chronicle.  “We plan to give Chronicle readers a lot of information on our organization so that we won’t be ‘one of the best kept secrets’ in the city,” Linda said.  “Our philanthropic activities and fund raisers such as the gala and Thrift Shop will be highlighted.”
