The voting campaign that we all participated in during August paid off!<\/p>\n<p>Assistance League Inland North County was awarded a grant for $10,000. (we were expecting $5000) Keep reading for the details!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Harrah&#8217;s Resort SoCal&#8217;s<\/strong> <em>2025 All-in 4 Change program<\/em> awarded $250,000 to 15 local nonprofits, with <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Martin Short, the Mayor of Funner, CA,<\/span> who announced the winners on September 30 at a lovely luncheon at the Resort. ALINC attendees were Madeline Gartner, Carole Comeau, Karen Boyle, Diana Towne, Pam Ross, Debbie Cagle, Judy Davis, and Marolyn Miglin.<\/p>\n<p>This event was the 10th anniversary of the program, and the grant pool was distributed as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1st Place ($100,000):<\/strong>\u00a0Armed Services YMCA.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2nd Place ($40,000):<\/strong>\u00a0The Bee Brigade.<\/li>\n<li><strong>3rd Place ($30,000):<\/strong>\u00a0MilVet.<\/li>\n<li><strong>4th Place ($20,000):<\/strong>\u00a0North County LGBTQ Resource Center.<\/li>\n<li><strong>5th Place ($10,000):<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Assistance League of Inland North County<\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>10 Honorable Mention Awards ($5,000 each):<\/strong>\u00a0Operation Hope San Diego County, Community Housing Works, San Diego Oasis, Military Women&#8217;s Collective, Foundation for Senior Care, I Love a Clean San Diego County,\u00a0Uplift Institute,\u00a0Elderhelp of San Diego,\u00a0Helen Woodward Animal Center, and\u00a0San Dieguito River Park.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The winners were chosen from 25 finalists through a mix of community votes and evaluations by a committee at\u00a0Harrah&#8217;s Resort SoCal.
