use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_separator color=&#8221;white&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;4857&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; add_caption=&#8221;yes&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<span class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Assisteens<\/span><\/span><sup>\u00ae <\/sup><span id=\"page8R_mcid5\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">is the youth auxiliary of Assistance League chapters.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Assisteens provides volunteer<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">opportunities for young people in grades 7 through 12.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The goals are to develop a sense of<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">community<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">responsibility,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">self<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">reliance,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">personal<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">responsibility,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">poise,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">public<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">speaking,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">leadership skills and to support the chapter.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Assisteens raise money in a variety of ways to fund <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ongoing<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Assistance<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">League<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Assisteens<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">philanthropic<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">programs<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">that<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">benefit<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">their community.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h5>Assisteens Auxiliary:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Students in seventh (7th) through twelfth (12) grades<\/li>\n<li>Are encouraged to work half-day Saturday shifts in the thrift shop<\/li>\n<li>Assist with philanthropic programs<\/li>\n<li>Pay annual dues of $40<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;4221&#8243;
