We know there is no paycheck waiting to compensate us for all that we do, but that\u2019s okay. We aren\u2019t motivated by money. Instead, VOLUNTEERS are INSPIRED by something far more lasting than money, which can be better explained in the following poem:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWHY BE A VOLUNTEER\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\nIt\u2019s not for money. It\u2019s not for fame. It\u2019s not for any personal gain.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s just for love of fellowman. It\u2019s just to lend a helping hand. It\u2019s just to send a tithe of self.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s something you can\u2019t buy with wealth.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s not for medals won with pride. It\u2019s for that feeling deep inside.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s that reward down in your heart.
