Willis ISD Receives $5000 for Career and Technology Students

Willis Independent School District’s Career and Technology Department (CTE) received a $5,000 scholarship on July 27, 2022, from Assistance League Montgomery County. In this pilot program with the Willis High School CTE Department, Assistance League will assist with the financial needs of students who desire to further their education in Willis High School Career and Technology classes but cannot afford to purchase the necessary equipment required for the course. Willis High School offers more than twenty options, including courses in welding, cosmetology, culinary arts, architecture and construction, automotive, business marketing, and agriculture.
