We appreciate your community service that enabled us to secure an Allstate Helping Hands Grant.<\/p>\n<p>For more than 60 years, the Allstate Foundation has been bringing out the good in millions of lives,\u00a0committing financial and human resources where they can make the most impact.\u00a0We are proud that our Weekend Food for Kids program was selected as the featured service activity for the \u201cFeed Your Future Volunteer Relay\u201d that took place in Washington, D.C., in October 2018. We are\u00a0honored to be included as a partner providing innovative and lasting solutions to enhance our community\u2019s well-being.<\/p>\n<p>Allstate executives and regional advisory board members, including exclusive agents and exclusive financial specialists from D.C., Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia, participated in a relay race to pack more than 500 bags of nonperishable food for less advantaged children in our large community.<\/p>\n<p>We are extremely grateful to Allstate\u00a0senior communication consultant,\u00a0Caitlyn Barron, and\u00a0Allstate exclusive agent,\u00a0Christine Angles, for organizing\u00a0the group activity and orchestrating the group grant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is all beyond outstanding! We are so proud to hear that our efforts benefited some of the most vulnerable in our society &#8211; our children,\u201d said Shaundra Turner Jones, Allstate corporate relations manager. \u201cThis impactful event has our hearts full and we look forward to being involved in many more,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em>The Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant\u00a0will help us advance our mission to\u00a0transform the lives of children and strengthen our community through our\u00a0program that increases food security. The funds will\u00a0be used to purchase three-months\u2019 worth of food for vulnerable children in six partner schools enrolled in our 2019-20 Weekend Food for Kids program.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Allstate Foundation and Allstate volunteers, for your tremendous support.
