{"id":8064,"date":"2023-03-10T16:19:02","date_gmt":"2023-03-10T21:19:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/northern-virginia\/?p=8064"},"modified":"2023-03-10T16:19:08","modified_gmt":"2023-03-10T21:19:08","slug":"high-powered-luncheon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/northern-virginia\/2023\/03\/10\/high-powered-luncheon\/","title":{"rendered":"HIGH-POWERED LUNCHEON!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to announce that Dominion Energy-Virginia has agreed to be a sponsor for Assistance League of Northern Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Literary Luncheon &amp; Fundraiser<\/em>\u00a0on April 30, 2023. \u00a0Dominion has supported Assistance League and our programs for more than ten years and is an essential partner in our Weekend Food for Kids program. \u00a0We are gratified and honored that Dominion has again provided such critical help by sponsoring the luncheon. \u00a0We are also grateful that Peggy Fox, former WUSA News Anchor and Dominion&#8217;s current Media Relations Manager, will moderate the discussion with our two authors, Sean McFate and Judith Pearson.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are still available for the luncheon, which will feature discussions by the two award-winning authors of their books, as well as auctions and a raffle. \u00a0Judith Pearson will discuss her book,\u00a0<em>Wolves at the Door,\u00a0<\/em>which chronicles the struggles of Virginia Hall, a spy for the Allies during World War 2.
