We want to recognize the\u00a0<\/a>Girls Varsity Basketball Team at Virginia Academy, Ashburn, for collecting more than 100 pairs of athletic shoes and donating them to us for our GotSneakers fundraising campaign.\u00a0 Even more impressive is that they collected the shoes while practicing for the post-season playoffs.\u00a0 That practice really paid off!\u00a0 The Team recently became State Champions by winning the Virginia Independent Athletic Association Division II final game.\u00a0 Congratulations on the big win and for taking the time to help others less fortunate in the community.\u00a0 These young women will go far.<\/p>\n
