{"id":8364,"date":"2023-05-05T09:28:45","date_gmt":"2023-05-05T14:28:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/northern-virginia\/?p=8364"},"modified":"2023-05-05T09:29:28","modified_gmt":"2023-05-05T14:29:28","slug":"come-to-the-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/northern-virginia\/2023\/05\/05\/come-to-the-fair\/","title":{"rendered":"Come to the Fair!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Assistance League of Northern Virginia is honored to be selected again by the Franklin Farm Foundation to receive the proceeds from the Silent Auction that will be part of the\u00a0<b>Marketplace and Community Fair<\/b>.\u00a0 On Saturday, May 13, local artists, craftspeople, and small businesses will be available from 11 am to to 4 pm at the Still Pond Pool Area (<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/Wf4CySyueRRob6RL8\">2700 Franklin Farm Road, Oak Hill, VA 20171<\/a>)\u00a0to showcase their crafts.\u00a0 Members of Assistance League will be on hand to provide information about our philanthropic programs that feed, educate, and clothe elementary school students throughout Northern Virginia. \u00a0Please stop by our table to learn about the\u00a0remarkable work we\u2019ve been doing in the community for 20 years. \u00a0We are gratified by our partnership and support from the Franklin Farm Foundation, including the Shred Event in April.\u00a0 Many of our earliest members lived in Franklin Farm and some are still members!\u00a0 We hope that when you visit our booth, you\u2019ll be impressed by our efforts and want to join our chapter.\u00a0 We always welcome new members.<\/p>\n<p>We will take orders for this year\u2019s Official White House Ornament, which features a festive holiday wreath, adorned with decorations similar to those used during Gerald Ford\u2019s administration. \u00a0Our price is $23.
