A devoted group gathered again recently to pack \u00a01720 bags of shelf-stable food to ensure that students at six Title 1 schools in Fairfax and Prince William Counties don\u2019t go hungry on weekends.\u00a0 With nearly 70 volunteers from Assistance League, Dominion Energy, and the community, the squad was able to pack the much-needed food bags in about an hour, after which the bags were loaded into trucks and delivered to the schools.\u00a0 Among the community volunteers who helped with our Weekend Food for Kids program were friends from our long-time supporter, RBH Global Wealth Management, and a team of four first-timers from the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce.\u00a0 We are grateful for their support.<\/p>\n
