Assistance League of Northern Virginia is very grateful to Chelsea Christina for her help with our clothing drive.\u00a0\u00a0Chelsea is an exchange student at Northern Virginia Community College studying American nonprofit organizations.\u00a0\u00a0For the past few months, she has volunteered to use her background in public relations and media to help our chapter by designing flyers for our media posts.\u00a0\u00a0After reading about our recent wish lists, which requested donations for our New Clothing for Kids program, she decided to use the college\u2019s Spring Fling event in mid-April to collect items for us.\u00a0\u00a0She and her fellow students collected three bags of clothes.\u00a0\u00a0We applaud Chelsea\u2019s generous spirit and initiative and wish her great success when she returns home next month.<\/p>\n
