Their support helped reduce the overall cost of the event. Furthermore, we were fortunate to receive donations from 32 businesses and several of our members for our silent auction, which also boosted the funds raised at the luncheon. \u00a0It&#8217;s important to note that\u00a0Assistance\u00a0League does not rely on federal, state, or local funding; our programs\u00a0are sustained\u00a0through the generosity of our friends, supporters, and grant funding.<\/p>\n<p>A highlight of the fundraiser was the compelling testimonial delivered by our Keynote Speaker, Kathleen Sain, who is the principal of an elementary school we support. Her heartfelt description of the positive impact of our programs on her students underscored the transformative partnership we have nurtured.
