The food was then delivered to six Title 1 elementary schools:\u00a0 three in Fairfax County (Garfield, Lynbrook and Pine Spring) and three in Prince William counties (Sudley, Loch Lomond and Yorkshire). Along with the food delivery, we also provided grocery gift cards to Cora Kelly Elementary in Alexandria, and \u2018emergency\u2019 cards to the families of students at the six schools receiving food bags.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/northern-virginia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/2025\/01\/1-16-2-rotated.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9298\" src=\"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/northern-virginia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/2025\/01\/1-16-2-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/northern-virginia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/2025\/01\/1-16-2-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.assistanceleague.org\/northern-virginia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/2025\/01\/1-16-2-rotated.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">This amazing task could not have been accomplished without our partners at Dominion Energy, who offer the space in their building, provide volunteers to help package the food and then transport the food to the schools. Also joining us this month was a group of volunteers from NW Federal Credit Union.
