Our members, assisted by Dominion Energy employee volunteers, assembled 1,900 bags of food for elementary school children in just over one hour. The packages \u2014 containing items such as ramen noodles, mac and cheese, pudding, yogurt, and healthy snacks \u2014 were delivered to six elementary schools to be distributed to students facing weekend food insecurity.<\/p>\n

With the help of generous donors and grantors, we support children in need in eight Title 1 elementary schools in Fairfax and Prince William Counties, and Alexandria with our food, clothing, and literacy programs. Our Weekend Food for Kids program alone provides 1,900 food packets each month during the school year.<\/p>\n
