We partner with volunteers from Dominion Energy and other community helpers to support our \u201cWeekend Food For Kids\u201d program.\u00a0\u00a0Each month we package 1900 bags of non-perishable food items for children in area Title 1 elementary schools to take home over the weekend, helping to combat food insecurity.<\/p>\n

This month, we welcomed\u00a0community volunteers including Christine Angeles and her team \u00a0from Allstate Insurance, Peterson Companies, Nativity Church, RBH Global Wealth Partners, and Hassinger\/Armm Association. The event kicked off with the presentation of a check by Christine from the Allstate Foundation for $10,000 to help support our WFFK program, proving that it truly does take a village.\u00a0 We are very grateful for Allstate’s continuing support.<\/p>\n
