Giving Tuesday is an annual worldwide campaign that encourages people to be generous and give back in whatever ways they can, by donations, volunteering, or other acts of kindness. It occurs on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and serves as a counterpoint to consumer-focused events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.\u00a0\u00a0This year, Giving Tuesday is December 2.\u00a0\u00a0Across the country, a growing number of parents, children, and seniors are facing serious hardships.\u00a0\u00a0We urge you to be generous with your support of nonprofit organizations that are helping to offset these issues.<\/p>\n
Once again we will participate in that campaign and are counting on your generosity so we can continue serving those who are struggling every day.\u00a0\u00a0Our primary focus is elementary school students and we take a holistic approach to ensure they have the essentials they need to feel confident in school and to build successful lives after graduation.\u00a0\u00a0Our programs deliver basics such as food, clothing, books, literacy support, and hygiene kits to help provide confidence.<\/p>\n
