Operation Recovery

Santa Monica House Omaha

The goal of Operation Recovery is to encourage and support the residents of Santa Monica House. Santa Monica  provides residential care for women recovering from dependency on drugs and or alcohol. The program  includes the various houses for the residents; Intermediate Residential Living, Halfway House , ¾ Way House and the Supported Transitional Living quarters.

This year they are celebrating their 50th year administering the program in the community.  Two major fundraisers are in the making;  Friend Raiser, Friday October 14, 6-9 pm. at Livingroom Master Craft and their Spring Fund Raiser,  Saturday, April 30, 2023 at the Scott Conference Center. ALO has in the past sponsored a table at the Spring fund raiser.

Some of the monthly evening events that Operation Recovery present at Santa Monica are jewelry making, hair styling, making of greeting cards, tie blanket making, creative writing, self-defense, and planting of flowers, amongst others. We strive to encourage the residents as they learn to integrate back into the community and improve their self- confidence and self-esteem.
