Assistance League of Orange is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through philanthropic programs in the Orange community. Member volunteers are dedicated to ongoing support and a long-term presence in the community through hands-on involvement and innovative philanthropic programs.
Since its charter in 1941, Assistance League of Orange member volunteers have consistently provided quality service to the Orange area. During the 2015-2016 year, nearly 350 members contributed over 33,000 hours to serve nearly 27,000 children and adults in our community.
Attempting to meet previously underserved needs, Assistance League of Orange supports 22 philanthropic programs. These programs provide services to every age range in the community.
The Thrift Shop is our main source of funding. The shop is staffed and managed entirely by our member volunteers. Donations are always welcome and are tax deductible.
