Orangewood Children & Family Center is a temporary shelter for abused, abandoned and neglected children. Assistance League of Orange volunteers visit and provide emotional support and activities for resident children of all ages.<\/span><\/p>\n

Children develop improved self esteem from a nurturing and fun activity.<\/p>\n

A former Orangewood resident related her experience with Assistance League of Orange volunteers as a much-needed interaction at a time when she felt that nobody in the world cared about her. She couldn’t believe that complete strangers would give their time to visit with her and provide a fun activity.<\/p>\n
