I chose to make a legacy gift to ALRSD because I want to continue to make a difference in the lives of those that we serve for years to come.\u00a0 When I retired, I looked for purposeful work in an organization whose values I support.

\nI found that here, at ALRSD.\u00a0 I love that we support the local community, from Camp Pendleton to Carmel Valley.\u00a0\u00a0 I also love that we focus on school children through OSB, Prep and Scholarships. \u00a0Once I joined, I found a group of interesting women, who are committed to our philanthropic goals.\u00a0These goals bind us together and give our work purpose.\u00a0 And, we have lots of fun. I am so happy to have made such a wonderful group of friends. \u00a0I don\u2019t think I would have survived the isolation of the pandemic without my ALRSD work and friends.<\/p>\n
