Awards go to students with financial need and life circumstances more difficult than most, who demonstrate ability, aptitude, and a dedication to their educational goals.<\/p>\n<p>Our program identifies individuals with incredible resilience, determination, and commitment to education as a path to a better life for themselves and their families. We offer four types of scholarships to students who attend community colleges and subsequent four-year institutions: <em>New Recipients<\/em>, <em>Previous Recipients<\/em>, <em>New Foster Recipients<\/em>, <em>Previous Foster Recipients<\/em>. Students in the Foster categories may also be considered for <em>New<\/em> and <em>Previous Recipient <\/em>scholarships, if they meet the criteria.<\/p>\n<p>Scholarships are awarded annually in May, during a special reception for recipients and their guests. This year\u2019s awards will be: $2,500 for <em>New<\/em> and <em>New Foster<\/em> R<em>ecipients<\/em>; $4,000 for <em>Previous<\/em> and <em>Previous Foster<\/em> <em>Recipients<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Scholarship Criteria for All Applicants<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Application materials will be accepted December 1, 2025 &#8211; February 15, 2026.\n<ul>\n<li>Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Complete application packets include:\n<ul>\n<li>scholarship application<\/li>\n<li>unofficial transcript(s)<\/li>\n<li>one academic reference written within the past six (6) months<\/li>\n<li>one non-academic reference from an unrelated personal or business associate written within the past six (6) months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Meet the criteria of the desired scholarship category.
