Filling the Gap for Students and Teachers<\/h6>\n

Links to Learning volunteer members work with Saddleback Valley Unified School District teachers to identify projects that are needed to encourage new innovative approaches to learning and that are not easily funded through traditional channels. \u00a0The classroom project must provide the following benefits:<\/p>\n

      1. Enhances and improves the effectiveness of the teacher\u2019s instruction<\/li>\n
      2. Encourages student engagement through interdisciplinary instruction, collaboration and project-based learning<\/li>\n
      3. Improve\/increases students\u2019 social, emotional learning<\/li>\n
      4. Encourages STEAM sustainable energy or conservation programs at the school level<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        This year, we received a record number of 70 teacher applications, with requests totaling a value of over $102,000. With only $40,000 in our award allocation, the selection process was incredibly challenging. \u00a0We were able to award 43 full or partial awards totaling $39,952.13 benefiting teachers and students at the below listed schools:<\/p>\n
