Assistance League of Salem does not copy, reproduce, publish, post, distribute, share or sell\u00a0the name, personal contact information or description of donation by donor to any outside\u00a0individual or business. Exceptions shall be those required by law, requested in grant\u00a0applications or in connection with bank credit or debit card transactions that may be made\u00a0without prior knowledge or consent of the donor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">B. Assistance League of Salem does acknowledge donors by name and\/or description of\u00a0donation, after the donors have given their written permission, in certain printed material such\u00a0as chapter newsletters, brochures, press releases, event invitations or programs, stationery,\u00a0solicitation letters, the organization\u2019s website or other means of expressing appreciation for\u00a0the donors\u2019 assistance. A donor wishing to view samples of these publications may do so by\u00a0contacting the chapter at the address above.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">C. Assistance League of Salem will provide, at least annually, a means (such as a check-off\u00a0box) for both new and continuing donors to inform the charity if they do not want their names\u00a0acknowledged on any of the printed material mentioned above. All donations shall be treated\u00a0individually so that multiple donations from a single donor shall receive the same\u00a0consideration as if each were the first donation received.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">D. If a donor chooses to opt out of any acknowledgement listings in printed material, the donor\u2019s\u00a0name and address will be made available only to members and\/or staff of Assistance League\u00a0of Salem who are responsible for managing the business of the corporation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">E. A printed copy of Assistance League of Salem\u2019s Donor Privacy Policy will be mailed to a\u00a0donor upon request and is also available on the corporation\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">F. All records of donations to Assistance League of Salem shall be maintained by the\u00a0corporation according to the applicable standards of record retention in effect at the time of\u00a0the donation. All records will be maintained in a secure location of the chapter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">G. A donor\u2019s photograph will not be used at any time or in any chapter publication without the\u00a0donor\u2019s written consent.
