CAPS (Caps Art Promotes Smiles)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

provides uniquely decorated ball caps to chronically ill children and adults. During 2020-2021, hats that were knitted and crocheted by members were added. Through this program, blankets are also distributed to patients undergoing chemotherapy.
\nIn 2020-2021, 1,186 recipients were impacted by and member volunteers contributed 1,754 hours in support of this program.<\/p>\n

Many groups, families or organizations who are looking for a community service project have enjoyed working in this program.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”2884,3095,2870,4149,4146,2892″][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

LaNell[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/i><\/span>You have always taken care of our campers very efficiently.\u00a0 We have appreciated the opportunity to have campers help decorate as well.\u00a0 They truly appreciate that people want to do things just for them.\u00a0 The caps provide a psychological lift, but they also serve a practical purpose of protecting them from the July sun during camp.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Ms. Mamalakis’ beautiful blanket covered her in warming comfort and compassionate love.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
