Our organization is completely run by member volunteers who donate over 30,000 hours of volunteer time annually. There is no paid staff. <\/i><\/span>\u00a0$250<\/strong> can provide 20 school uniforms to disadvantaged students in the San Jose city public school system (Operation School Bell\u00ae<\/sup>).<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/span>\u00a0$150<\/strong> can provide 12 hardcover books for a classroom (Readers Are Leaders).<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/span>\u00a0$75<\/strong> can provide teddy bears to 15 abused and neglected children (Hug-a-Bear).<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/span>\u00a0$50<\/strong> can provide 5 layettes to disadvantaged new mothers at Valley Medical Center (Caring Hands).<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/span>\u00a0$30<\/strong> can provide vision screening for 50 preschool children (Project S.E.E. Screening Eyes Early).<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/span>\u00a0$25<\/strong> can provide Bingo prizes for seniors in nursing homes (Bingo).<\/p>\n
