Learning to give back to help a community in need is a fabulous value to impart on our young generation\u2763\ufe0f<\/p>\n

One of our volunteers has done just that with her granddaughters who for 2 years have sold hot cocoa \u2615\ufe0f and holiday cookies \ud83c\udf6a \ud83c\udf84 in order to buy toiletries for those who are homeless. They raised $60! \ud83d\udcb0 which will go to our Assist-a-Shelter’s CityTeam San Jose toiletry\ud83e\uddf4 program for those in need.<\/p>\n

Our grand volunteer says, “It\u2019s totally their idea, not their bubbe\u2019s (grandma’s) although I must admit I\u2019m so proud of them for wanting to help those in need. The kindness \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc that was shown by our neighbors and strangers too was truly heartwarming. \ud83e\udd70<\/p>\n
