What’s Assisteens?

Assisteens of Seattle is a new auxiliary of Assistance League of Seattle, which provides hands-on volunteer and leadership opportunities for teens to develop a sense of community responsibility, self-reliance, volunteerism, and leadership.

Why should you join?

As a member of Assisteens of Seattle, you will:
Plan and execute fundraising projects to benefit people in our community
Support Assistance League of Seattle’s philanthropic programs and Thrift Shop
Earn community service hours required for graduation
Be a standout in your resume and college applications through valu- able work and volunteer experience with Assisteens
 Be part of a new group of diverse friends from different middle and high schools in Seattle!

What's required to be an Assisteen?

Be enrolled in grades 7 – 12 in Seattle
Attend monthly meetings during the school year (dates TBD)
Work four shifts at the AL Seattle Thrift Shop per year
Volunteer 30+ hours per year
Pay annual dues of $45
